This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through communityofclosers.com, why we collect it, which service providers may handle it, how we use it to communicate with you, and the choices available to you. Please read it before submitting an application or scheduling a call.

What this policy covers
This policy covers our public website, video presentations, application and appointment-booking forms, website inquiries, related pre-call communications, and other interactions associated with the front end of Community of Closers. Additional written agreements or notices may apply if you later choose to enroll in a paid program.
Third-party websites, social-media platforms and video services may have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
Personal information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, country or region and other information you choose to provide.
- Application information: responses about your background, sales experience, employment goals, availability, challenges, readiness and other answers requested in the application or booking questionnaire. Some questions may involve personal financial circumstances, so please do not provide bank account numbers or payment-card details in free-text fields.
- Appointment and communication information: booking selections, appointment history, messages, emails, SMS preferences, WhatsApp correspondence, support questions and notes from conversations with our team.
- Call and video-conference information: recordings, transcripts, summaries or notes where calls are recorded, subject to applicable law and any required notices or consent.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, approximate location inferred from IP address, referral pages, website interactions, cookie identifiers, and information from Meta Pixel or other analytics technologies when used and permitted.
- Consent and preference records: the date, method and scope of permission you gave us to contact you, along with opt-outs or withdrawn consent.
We receive most of this information directly from you or automatically through your use of our website. If you contact us through a third-party platform, we may receive information available through that interaction.
How and why we use information
We use personal information for the following purposes, where there is an appropriate legal basis:
- Responding to inquiries and evaluating whether to offer an application or discovery call.
- Booking, confirming, rescheduling and preparing for appointments, including contacting you ahead of your call.
- Providing requested information about our services and following up on an inquiry.
- Sending appointment-related emails, SMS messages, telephone calls or WhatsApp messages when permitted.
- Sending promotional messages only where permitted by applicable law and, when required, based on separate marketing consent.
- Operating and improving the website, understanding how visitors use it, and measuring advertising performance.
- Preventing fraud or misuse, maintaining security, keeping appropriate records and complying with legal requirements.
Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis for processing, that basis may be your consent, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests where those are not overridden by your rights, or compliance with legal obligations. We do not treat accepting this Privacy Policy as blanket consent to every possible communication or tracking activity.
Phone numbers, SMS and WhatsApp
If you provide a mobile number and separately opt in to appointment-related texts, we may send messages about your application, booking confirmation, schedule changes, appointment reminders and call preparation. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS or HELP for assistance, or email [email protected]. If you withdraw SMS consent, we may still contact you through another channel where permitted to complete a request you made.
We may contact you by phone or WhatsApp about a submitted inquiry or appointment where permitted by law. WhatsApp communications are also subject to the policies of WhatsApp and its service providers. You can ask us to stop using a channel by contacting us.
Marketing or promotional SMS—such as offers sent to encourage a purchase—may require separate, optional, express consent and will not be automatically authorized merely by providing a phone number or agreeing to appointment reminders. SMS consent is not required as a condition of purchasing our services.
Mobile information and messaging consent: We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information to messaging carriers, communication platforms and contractors solely as needed to deliver our messages, maintain consent records or support our communications. SMS opt-in information is not transferred to hiring companies for their marketing.
International processing and transfers
We are based in Canada and serve visitors in multiple countries. Our service providers and their personnel or infrastructure may be located in Canada, the United States or other jurisdictions. As a result, information may be processed or stored outside your country, where different data-protection rules and lawful-access requirements can apply.
Where applicable law requires contractual safeguards or other transfer mechanisms, we will take appropriate measures.
How long we retain information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including handling inquiries, maintaining appointment history, respecting communication preferences, protecting against disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of record and applicable law.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it, subject to legitimate retention requirements. If you request deletion, certain limited records—for example, an SMS opt-out log—may need to be retained to honor that choice.
Security and call recording
We use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration and disclosure. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Our team may record or transcribe application, qualification and other calls for training, quality, recordkeeping or service purposes. Where recording requires notification or consent, we must provide it before recording begins and respect applicable rules. You may ask about recording practices before a call.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access your information, ask us to correct inaccuracies, request deletion, withdraw consent, object to or restrict particular uses, request portability, and complain to an applicable privacy regulator. These rights may be subject to exceptions under law.
To make a request, email [email protected] and describe the information or preference involved. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link provided in those messages, and opt out of SMS by replying STOP.
If you live in a jurisdiction with additional privacy protections, we will honor those protections to the extent they apply to our activities.
Children and other websites
Our website and career-related programs are not directed toward children, and we do not intentionally seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review the situation.
We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of websites and services operated by third parties, even when they are linked or embedded on our site.
Updates and questions
We may update this policy as our practices, service providers or legal responsibilities change. Any revised version will be posted here with an updated date. If a change materially affects a use that requires consent, we will seek the appropriate permission.
